Sebring Sees JMF Motorsports Go Three-For-Three with Overall Pole Position

Sebring International Raceway delivered another intense qualifying battle, with rising track temperatures and a red flag in Qualifying 1 all playing a role in shaping the grid. The early end to the opening session had direct implications on the combined qualifying times, leaving several teams at a disadvantage as the field prepared for this evening’s three-hour race.

In the end, it was JMF Motorsports who distinguished themselves as the ones to beat yet again. They scored the overall pole position for the third time in a row this season.

Pro Class

JMF Motorsports continued its dominant qualifying form, with Michai Stephens going quickest overall in Qualifying 1 aboard the No. 34 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO. Stephens delivered a solid lap of 2:01.333, keeping the team’s momentum rolling through the opening half of the season.

Alex Sedgwick followed second overall and second in class in the No. 6 Dollahite Racing Ford Mustang GT3, while Matias Perez Companc completed the Pro class top three in the No. 12 AF Corse USA Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO.

In Qualifying 2, Robby Foley set the overall benchmark with a 2:00.397 in the No. 29 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 EVO. Frederik Schandorff placed second in the Pro class and third overall in the No. 12 AF Corse USA Ferrari, while Mikael Grenier brought the No. 34 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO home third in class and sixth overall.

With both sessions combined, JMF Motorsports secured the overall pole position, marking their third consecutive pole of the season and completing a perfect three-for-three run in qualifying so far. The No. 34 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO will lead the field to green this evening, with AF Corse USA set to start second overall and Turner Motorsport lining up third.

Pro-Am Class

Brayton Williams led the way in Pro-Am during Qualifying 1, putting the No. 9 TR3 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO sixth overall in the opening session. He finished just ahead of Jason Daskalos in the No. 27 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, while Sebastian Mascaro completed the top three in class aboard the No. 18 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3.

Qualifying 2 saw Aaron Telitz rise to the top of the Pro-Am order in the No. 69 Archangel Motorsports McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, placing second overall in the session. Riccardo Agostini followed second in class and fourth overall for Triarsi Competizione, with Tom Sargent third in class and fifth overall in the No. 32 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R (992) EVO.
