It’s been a long time coming, but the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS field is on its way to Road Atlanta from June 12th to 14th for Round 4 of 7 in the 2026 season. Following an action-packed opening stretch across the first three-hour races of the year, teams now prepare for one of the most anticipated events on the calendar.
The weekend marks SRO America's first visit to Road Atlanta since 2011 and all six SRO championships are set to converge on the legendary Georgia circuit. With major festivities planned throughout the weekend and championship battles tightening, the stage is set for a pivotal chapter in the season.
In the Global Manufacturer Championship standings, Mercedes-AMG has reclaimed the lead after narrowly sitting behind Porsche for several weeks, now sitting at 419 and 412 points, respectively. Road Atlanta has the potential to reshuffle the order again before manufacturers brace for an all-day battle in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa at the end of June.
